Activated alumina is an alumina ball with a porous structure and high surface area (surface area ≈ 415 m2/g). It has excellent properties such as environmental protection, odorless, non-powdering, insoluble in water, white spherical shape, and strong ability to absorb water. Activated alumina balls can act as desiccants and have excellent properties such as thermal shock resistance and wear resistance.
Our activated alumina can reduce the moisture in the air or gas to very low levels when drying compressed air or gas, reaching -40°F (approximately -40°C) to -100°F (approximately -73° C) dew point, allowing the water vapor content in the air to reach extremely low values.

Features

Activated alumina uses
- For air compressors:Activated alumina has the characteristics of pressure resistance, high lightness, low wear, suitable pore structure, and low impurity content, making it very suitable for use in factory air compressors.
- Special fluoride remover:Activated alumina has strong adsorption capacity for fluorine and is mainly used to remove fluoride from drinking water in high fluoride areas. It is a special defluoridation agent for factories.
- Adsorption dryer:Activated alumina has uniform particle size, smooth surface, and strong hygroscopicity. It does not swell or crack and remains in its original shape after washing. It is non-toxic, odorless, and insoluble in water, and is very suitable for use as a desiccant.
- Catalyst:Activated alumina can serve as a CO-M0 series sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst. It has the characteristics of good low-temperature activity, wide operating temperature range, and short vulcanization time. It is very suitable for small and medium-sized ammonia plants.
