Ceramic Heating Element for Line Protection

This ceramic electrode heating plate is a non-resettable protective device that operates only once. When the thermal fuse senses abnormal heat and the temperature reaches the preset melting point, the hot melt adhesive melts, and the sliding contacts, aided by a trip spring, separate from the isolated conductor, breaking the circuit.

Under abnormal operating conditions, it will only self-destruct, such as melting or burning through the insulation layer, thereby protecting the equipment.

The heater’s inherent characteristics plus external protection devices (thermostat, fuse, voltage regulator) equal a complete safety protection system.
