Silicon Carbide Thermometer Protective Sleeve

GORGEOUS CERAMICS (GGS) silicon carbide protective sleeves are manufactured through isostatic pressing and high-temperature sintering.

We employ an integral molding process, where the blind end of the protective sleeve and the tube are a single, integral structure. You can choose between flanged or flangeless versions to meet your application requirements. Depending on the customized size, the flange can be integrally molded with the sleeve, or the flange and sleeve can be molded separately and then welded together at high temperature.

Features and Advantages of Silicon Carbide Thermometer Protective Sleeve

GORGEOUS CERAMICS (GGS) silicon carbide thermometer protective sleeves are impermeable to gases up to 31 MPa from room temperature to 1000°C and can withstand high pressure.

Using high-purity silicon carbide as the raw material (>99%).

EN10204-3.1 certification is available.

The product exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance even at high temperatures, has a long service life, and does not contaminate materials.

With high thermal conductivity and good thermal shock resistance, the silicon carbide protective sleeve provides a rapid response to temperature changes.

We can perform pressure testing according to customer application requirements.

Typical Applications of Thermometer Protective Sleeves

Our silicon carbide protective sleeves are protective tubes that are fitted over the temperature sensing element or pre-installed on the equipment, protecting it from the pressure and corrosion of the measured medium.

They are mainly used in chemical pipelines, reactors, etc., and can be easily installed and reliably sealed on test flanges.
